Plinth House in Porto is a studio for making. A raised base separates the working floor from the street while an open doorway keeps kitchen and workshop in conversation.

The plinth is not a podium. It is a practical lift that protects storage and creates a calm approach. Inside, the plan favors long tables and clear walls over closed rooms.

Live / make

Domestic and productive uses share the same material language. The project argues that a studio can be domestic without becoming soft, and precise without becoming cold.
